    Drama

    International pop sensation Kylie Minogue steps back in time as she joins the Time Lord for a spectacular episode set on board a spaceship replication of the Titanic.

    The action picks up the moment after the end of Series 3, when viewers witnessed the Titanic crash through the tardis walls in spectacular style.

    The Australian singer plays Astrid, a waitress who meets the Doctor on the Titanic, when it is struck by a meteor.

    She says: "It is an incredible thrill to be joining David and the entire Doctor Who production for this year's Christmas special. Doctor Who enjoys a unique history and it is very exciting to be a part of that."
