Drabble Who

edited by David J. Howe and David B. Wake

Book review (as a drabble) by Paul Scoones

Drabble Who is a hardback, limited edition collection of one hundred stories, each one hundred words long. The writers include Who authors, directors, actors, producers and fans. There's not much that can be said in one hundred words, but some of the stories quite cleverly encapsulate elements of Who. Certain former personnel such as Jon Pertwee, Louise Jameson and Victor Pemberton have recounted real life experiences. Other drabbles are primarily humorous. I particularly liked Gary Russell's one about McCoy's jumper. Most of the entries are entertaining and it's a good volume to dip into rather than absorb all at once.

This item appeared in TSV 36 (November 1993).
